1. what did you find difficult about this project? Nothing. It was pretty simple.
2. What would you have re-done? Nothing
3. What is most successful about your piece? I like the mouth part of it.

Me and Celeste were trying to do wax and ice cream together but that didn't work out. I wanted to do something different so we just went with the ice cream cone we had planned. It was kind of hard to do. Process: we took a slab and measured out a nice size for the sides and cut that out and made the little cup part. Then we made the smaller cup part and stuck that on the side. we took what we had for the bottom and cut around it to make the bottom part so I could not have a hole in it. We had to cut away a lot to get the ice cream cone kind of shape inside and outside. My difficulties would be the size, the shape, the detail that I lacked What was most successful is that it came out looking kind of like and ice cream cone. we made it so we could do our wax ice cream and glazed ice cream cone but that didn't work out so I just have an ice cream cone. Process:
1. Draw Sketch On Plastic Sheet 2. Knead & Roll Out Clay 3. Use a Circle Shaped Tape And Carve Out Circle 4. Cover Plastic Sheet Over Clay Circle 5. Use Loop Tool To Trace Sketch And Make An "S" Shape Indent 6. Use Loop Tool To Carve Out One Side Of The "S" Leaving Only One Point Intact 7. Use Loop To Carve Out Small Circle Shape On Raised Side Of "S" 8. Fire It In Kiln 9. Use Black & White Glaze. (Carved side of "S" Black & Raised Side White. With The Raised Part of the carved side being white and carved part of white side being black ) 10. Fire It in Kiln Again
- In the beginning if the semester my art was very clumsy because I didn't use most of the tools. This was mainly because I didn't know how to use them. But now that I know how to use most of the tools I'm able to make my art more refined even though my art style is wacky tacky and quick paced. What was your favorite material that you used this year? Why do you like working with it?
What is a technique you used in your artwork that worked well? Explain what technique it was and why it was successful.
Which project was your least successful? Explain why you consider this work of art unsuccessful? If you were to create this project over, what changes would you make?
For this project I created a tree out of the green pez shredded paper. I used wire, moss, dirt, pipe cleaner, and a rock. I think this piece came out successful because it was a good way to use to shredder paper because it really looks like a small tree. I just wish that the paper shreds weren't so long and stuck out. they also kept falling off. If I were to do this project again I would make the bark longer and make the tree look more realistic.
